A nationwide survey by First Direct bank revealed that Brits are spending £50billion to buy back some free time.

Researchers who quizzed 1,000 people found that we were paying around 150 different categories of helpers. We spend £5.4billion a year on cleaners, £2.1billion on gardeners and a whopping £14billion to meet childcare costs.
