Relocation
This bespoke service provides comprehensive relocation support to ensure that the move to your new home is effected as seamlessly as possible.
Our bespoke package has been specifically designed to cover the organisation of the multitude of personal and administrative details that are required when moving house. It has been devised as a result of many years experience in relocating clients and seeks to be as comprehensive a service as you need it to be.
To enable us to dot the i’s and cross the t’s on your new life your buy:time relocation consultant will be available to spend time at their desk organising your personal and family paperwork and new home administration. However we also expect that you might need us to be at your new home or out and about helping organise things on your behalf.
Our relocation package has been designed to cover both eventualities and provides a mixture of desk based work and on-site/mobile support
The relocation package includes:
- Research and organisation of gym memberships, children’s clubs and activities etc
- Obtaining quotes for reputable removal companies
- School search service – including preparation of local schools list with indication of places available in required year groups, admissions policies, and organisation of appointments and viewings
- Instructing and organising the selected removal firm, both pre and during move day
- Transferring utilities; gas, electricity, water, council tax
- Organising the connection of telephone lines
- Transferring telephone number
- Taking care of car parking permit refunds and new applications
- Carrying out change of address administration, to include all financial & professional services and personal contacts – DVLA, Voter registration etc.
- Setting up the requirements for the changes in insurance policies i.e. home contents and personal possessions
- Setting up mail redirection services
- Sourcing and organising support services for once the property has completed, for example:
- locksmith to change the locks
- window cleaner
- domestic cleaning service
- carpet cleaner
- alarm service
- gardener
- IT support
- Organise setting up of
- satellite television
- home computers
- broadband accounts
- Organising shopping for groceries or new items for the home
- Organising freezer filling of home cooked food for first few days
For on-site support we would be available to:
- Help organise the de-clutter of your home pre move, including sorting of unwanted items for removal to charity shops, or in preparation to be sold
- Come to your new home on your move day where we would oversea your move, liaising with the removal company and ensuring delivery of your removal plan which we would establish for you.

How we work
As a buy:time client you would have your own Relocations Consultant with whom you would liaise from the moment you choose to work with us. Your Consultant will get to know you, your wishes and expectations and will be your single point of contact.
Our Consultants all have high level PA backgrounds and have the experience of organising significant numbers of home moves. We utilise the committed support of our service providers, gathered over many years of work in the relocation of our clients. These companies work hard to ensure that our clients receive high service levels and the best possible end results.
In addition to providing personal administrative support both pre and post move day our Consultants are available to be on-site on move day itself, overseeing and coordinating the various contractors who might be required. Our team consists of property professionals, relocation agents,solicitors and executive PA’s who work together to form an integrated and dedicated support team.
Your buy:time Relocations Consultant is insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance and is covered to provide key-holding services. We can be at your home when you cannot be, providing a sound support system at the time when you need it most.
