It’s Going To Be Hot In The City This Easter

The sun has got his hat on for this long Easter weekend and we are so ready for it. With temperatures predicted to be hotter than Menorca the shades will need to be out to enjoy this sizzling weather.

The Met Office

The Met Office predict that the mercury will start to rise on Good Friday with Sunday seeing temperatures soaring up to a giddy 22°.

BBC Weather

BBC Weather is even more sanguine, citing temperatures reaching a little higher at 23°.

Either way it’s all looking rather balmy.  So dust off the BBQs and drag out the garden furniture as it’s time to welcome British Summer Time.

Easter 2019

If you’re on the hunt for chocolate this weekend then check out this list of organised events in and around London that the littl’uns will be egg-static about (*boom* – sorry had to be done!).

Ham Yard Hotel
The Roof Terrace, Ham Yard Hotel

When the temperatures soar there is nothing like nabbing an al fresco spot to soak up the sun.  There’s a plethora of outdoor spaces to enjoy in London but if you are needing some inspiration on where to soak up the rays, this handy list will help.

Claridges Egg
Claridge’s Art Deco Easter Egg, £55

If you want to push the boat out and wow someone this Easter then these are the places to shop.

Fabergé and The Ritz London

Some of us love the opportunity to cram our house with guests and slave over the stove all weekend. However if you’re not so keen on being chained to the kitchen sink this Easter then here’s the low down on the best new food & drink pop-ups of the moment in London.

Unique Home Stays
The Beach Hut,
Millook, Widemouth Bay, Cornwall

If the thought of sweating it out in the landlocked city is too unbearable then Unique Home Stays has an Impulse Escape section.  Here you can gleam inspiration for impromptu getaways – I’m talking in the UK as who would want to leave these soaring temperatures! Pack up the buckets and spades and head to the sea to cool down.

Summer London

The good news is that BBC Weather is predicting that this warmer settled weather will continue into May with the occasional frontal system and spells of rain.
